Chris has over twenty years of agency and in-house experience developing and managing employee, corporate, and consumer brand campaigns in the USA and Europe.
He helps build sustainable brands from the inside out, combining strategic planning with visual storytelling to create campaigns that have attracted attention and built advocacy for clients such as Canon, Chevron, Hilton Hotels, Pearson and Panasonic.
Chris was previously creative director at Cohn and Wolfe’s San Francisco office where he was responsible for developing executive and employee communications, including communications training programs.
In-between spells at Cohn & Wolfe, Chris spent five years as executive communications manager for Chevron where he provided communications counsel, including speechwriting and presentation design for senior executives. He was also responsible for developing global employee communications programs and leading the PR efforts to re-launch the Texaco brand in the US.
Chris previously led the Technology Division in Cohn & Wolfe’s London office before moving to San Francisco in 2001.
He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Sheffield (UK) and currently lives in Oakland, CA.

Mike Perls is the founder and CEO of MC2, the North of England's leading marketing communications agency.
Since 1999, he has taken MC2 from a two-man start-up to a 40-strong business that is the envy of its competitors and that counts Deloitte LLP, Krispy Kreme, the NHS, Kraft Foods and NCC Group among its clients.
Mike sits on the boards of investment network, Envestors, and of the Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a global network linking entrepreneurs and professionals.
He is a committee member for the North West division of the IoD, and, in 2010, led the development of innovative entrepreneurial initiative, RAW2010.
After a successful re-launch in 2010 Mike has recently stepped down as Chairman of the MPA and has become a member of the Princes Trust North West Leadership Group.
